Confirm whether fixed power and reliable internet are available. Mobile coverage must be assessed at the proposed camera location, not just at the street.
Choose recording behaviour
Solar and battery systems may use event recording or power-saving modes. Do not assume they behave like continuously powered cameras. Required recording duration affects the solution.
Review as work progresses
New structures, scaffolding and deliveries can obscure views. Agree how cameras will be moved, secured and maintained as the site develops.
